One of the things every pregnant woman wants to have is a healthy and strong baby. In addition, magnesium in nuts can also help pregnant women’s bowel movements regularly in order to have better digestions. Experts suggest that in the first trimester, pregnant women consume at least seven servings of nuts per week or two to three times the usual rate, which are very good for fetal brain development. The types of nuts that are recommended for pregnant women to consume are peanuts, hazelnuts, almonds, and walnuts.
