Hailing from Africa, Sudan sits as the fifth largest producer of peanut in the world, with an annual production of 1.83 tons, or 4.2% of the total world peanut production.
United States of America
The United States ranks fourth in the list of the largest peanut producing countries. Uncle Sam produces 2.58 tons of peanuts per year or 5.9% of the total world peanut production.
Back to the continent of Africa, Nigeria ranked third, with a total production of 3.03 tons or 6.9% of total world peanut production.
Ranked second is India, with the amount of bean production in
production by the home country of Taj Mahal is 6.86 tons or 15.6% of the total world bean production.
